For the next 18 months, the GREAT American Cleanup becomes the GREATEST American Cleanup, bringing new energy and momentum to our movement. A cleaner, greener community doesn’t just look better—it makes us feel better too. This season, let’s shake off the winter blues, get outside, and make a lasting impact.

Whether you’re organizing a cleanup, planting trees, or painting murals, your efforts will inspire others to join the cause. To help you get started, we’ve created this Digital Toolkit, packed with resources, messaging, and strategies to support your spring efforts. Let’s make this the Greatest spring cleanup yet!

Mississippi Affiliates Reach KAB President’s Circle in Record Numbers

KMB Affiliate Grant Winners

We’re excited to share that the winners of the 2025 Coca-Cola Greatest American Cleanup Activation Grants have been selected and four Mississippi affiliates are on the list.

Keep New Albany/Union Ct Beautiful, Keep Picayune Beautiful, Keep the Rez Beautiful, and Keep Vicksburg Beautiful.

Keep America Beautiful’s sponsor/partner at Coca Cola was thrilled with the projects and encouraged by the innovative and heartfelt applications.

With generous support from The North American Operating Unit of The Coca-Cola Company (NAOU), Keep America Beautiful awarded $150,000 in funding to affiliates across the country. This year’s program homed in on energizing local communities through impactful cleanup, beautification, and engagement projects as part of the Greatest American Cleanup campaign and final grantees were selected based on their compelling project ideas—each aiming to clean (litter and recycling efforts), beautify (green and public art projects), and engage (public education and community celebrations).

Affiliates were also asked to commit to deepening community ties by securing pledges or Greatest Declarations from local leaders and volunteers!

This funding helps fuel efforts in the second-to-last year of the current Greatest American Cleanup campaign, and we can’t wait to see the creativity and impact these projects will deliver.

Cigarette Litter Prevention Program (CLPP) Grants

The Keep America Beautiful Cigarette Litter Prevention Program helps reduce pollution in American communities by collecting cigarette waste from public spaces and waterways and recycling it. Since its inception in 2003, the program has been implemented in more than 1,800 communities across the nation, achieving an average of 50% reduction in cigarette waste.

2025 KMB congratulates Keep Pike County Beautiful and Keep Pearl River County Beautiful for being awarded CLPP grants in June!
